Endless possibilities

Stark finances and advises companies and innovative research projects in the life sciences and artificial intelligence sectors.

Our goal: to move from proof of concept to a sustainable and profitable company, with bold, ambitious and innovative strategies.

Founder

Thierry Mathieu

Stark was founded by Thierry Mathieu, a biologist, who took 15 years to co-develop Labco, number 1 for biological analysis in Europe, with more than 750 laboratories spread over 7 countries.

Labco was re-sold for €1.2 billion in 2015.

An expert in innovation in biology and biochemistry, he has unique experience as an investor and manager in European markets.

Thierry Mathieu uses his expertise to rally an international network of legal expertise, financing and management.

Added value

With a strong specialisation in life sciences, artificial intelligence and advanced computing, Stark invests in start-ups and research projects with high growth potential.

Stark exclusively supports the very first stages of development: initiation and first round, pre-clinical stages and Proof of Concepts (POC).

Beyond investment, Stark is also a genuine strategic partner, which accelerates and guides the construction of business models: scientific orientation, financing, management, networking and lobbying.

Stark is mainly active in Europe.
